Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures

Arrival

• Gates open at 7:45 a.m., and students should be in their seats and ready to learn by 8:00 a.m.
• If you park in the south parking lot and walk your student to school, please use the sidewalks on either side of the lot. There should be NO foot traffic inside the parking lot.
• Please do not block the bus lane, as keeping it clear allows our buses to arrive and leave safely and on time.

Dismissal

We are so excited that we have been able to complete parent pick-up within 10 minutes of dismissal! Thank you for your patience and cooperation—you are making a huge difference!

A few important reminders:

• Kindergarten families only may enter the main parking lot until 2:40 p.m.
• After kindergarten dismissal, parent pick-up for grades 1–8 begins, and all families may enter the parking lot.
• Please do not enter the main parking lot before 2:40 p.m. This allows our kindergarten families to safely and efficiently pick up their students.
• Once you enter the parking lot, you may choose either lane for parent pick-up.
• Thank you for having your placards displayed! This has greatly helped speed up our dismissal process.

If you are picking up your child from the south parking lot, we encourage you to have your child wait in front of the school and pick them up in the designated parent pick-up lane in front of the office. We promise it is easier to navigate than the back parking lot—and, most importantly, it is a safer option for your child.

One final reminder: Phoenix Police has also reminded us that vehicles may not wait in or block the bike lane while lining up to enter either parking lot. Please help us keep the bike lane open at all times.
