Proposed Attendance Zone Changes
Next Steps with Long Term Planning
The Long Range Planning Committee presented an update during the April 28, 2026, Governing Board Meeting. You may view a recording of the meeting, at the DVUSD Governing Board YouTube page.
The presentation includes announcing openings for a parent representative on the committee from the Boulder Creek, Deer Valley, Mountain Ridge, and Sandra Day O'Connor High School Regions. The Barry Goldwater High School region will not have an opening as the parent representative for the region has chosen to stay on the committee.
The committee was originally formed in May 2025, and only positions that have been vacated are being filled at this time. Committee members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings. While the full meeting schedule is being finalized, the next Long Range Planning committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Governing Board Room. Subsequent meetings will be scheduled on Thursdays as well.
Upcoming Meetings
May 21, 2026: Main Governing Board Room, 6 - 8 p.m.
