About Mrs. Naughton:

Hi, I am Mrs. Naughton. I am excited about being your kindergarten teacher! This will be my 13th year of teaching and it is my third year of teaching kindergarten at Inspiration Mountain. I have a teaching degree in Elementary Education, along with a degree in Special Education. 

I’m looking forward to making a difference in my students’ lives.  I firmly believe learning is best achieved in a safe, loving and positive environment. I believe in being an advocate for education, as well as for my students. I feel communication and collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community members are key to providing a successful educational experience for my students.

I am originally from Crandon, Wisconsin. My husband, Steve, and I moved to Arizona in July 2015.  We have a daughter, Alyssa, and a son, Matthew. I love spending time with my family. Most weekends you will find me either volunteering for the Arizona Interscholastic Cycling League or helping coach the Boulder Creek and Anthem Composite Middle School Mountain Bike Teams. I love biking, traveling, the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers!
