Smith, Asha

Hello! My name is Asha Smith. This is my 12th year teaching! I moved to Arizona in 2021. Before moving I taught in Bahrain which is a small island in the Middle East for four years. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia where I graduated from Georgia Stata University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught different grade levels but second grade is by far my favorite. This will be my 4th year as a second grade teacher. When I am not in school, you can find me at the gym or doing something fitness related, traveling the US and the world or at home reading a thriller book cuddled with my two orange cats Georgie and Peach. I am excited to become a Knight and I can't wait to see what this year will bring
