Welcome Knights!

My name is Shanon Fleming, and I am so delighted to be your child's 3rd grade teacher for this upcoming school year!

I have been teaching for 19 years. This is my 11th year teaching 3rd grade in Deer Valley Unified and my third year at Inspiration Mountain! I was born in New York, but have lived in Arizona most of my life.   I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development and then went on to earn a second Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona, BEAR DOWN! 

My husband, Timothy and I, have been married for 21 years and together we have a daughter, Elly, who is going into her Sophomore year at Mountain Ridge this year.  As a family we enjoy traveling in our fifth wheel every summer. We love to go to the mountains, beach and Disneyland.  We are a big soccer family.  On the weekends you can find us at the soccer fields. My husband coaches, mentors referees and Elly has played soccer since she was 4 years old and this will be her 5th season playing Club.
