I am thrilled to be a part of the Inspiration Mountain Knights family again this year. This year marks my 14th year teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District, where I've had the pleasure of being an original Knight for the past 3 years . I am very excited to join the middle school team here at IM where I will be teaching 6th grade math this school year.  My goal is to make math fun, understandable, and something my students feel confident about.

My desire to become a teacher started at a very young age. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education while raising my family. We are originally from Pennsylvania but took a leap of faith some 27 years ago and moved to Arizona and never looked back. Our family is continuing to grow with 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time together.
