Hello all!  This is my second year at IM and I am very happy to be moving up to teach 7th grade social studies. I have taught many different grades and subjects over my 18 year teaching career.  I have taught kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, sixth grade and eighth grade. My favorite age group, after teaching all those different grade levels is still middle school, so I am extremely excited to have landed in 7th grade! On top of that, I am a huge history buff and it has been a lifelong dream to teach social studies, so I know this year is going to be my favorite!

A few things about myself: 

• I am a huge Disney fan.  We go as often a possible! 
• I have been to all 50 states.
• I have a wonderful husband, and two awesome boys. Many of you know my youngest son, as he was a guest teacher here last year.
• We have three Cornish Rex cats, Maisy, Miles and Memphis. 
• We love to do escape rooms.  We are close to completing 200 rooms. 
• My oldest son is getting married this February, to a wonderful girl, so I am beyond excited to be getting a daughter in law! 
• I love dark chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies!
• A few of my other favorite things are: Amazon, Dutch Brother Peach Ring ice tea, Hobby Lobby, the color blue, pumpkin (everything and anything) and finally, the seasons fall and winter!
