Welcome Knights!

I am Mrs. Witt and will be your 7th grade Science teacher for the upcoming school year! I will also be acting as Co-Advisor of a student-led Yearbook Club alongside Ms. Goodman to create and produce the Inspiration Mountain Yearbook!

This will be my 17th year teaching, and my third year at Inspiration Mountain! As an Arizonan native, I grew up attending schools all over the valley. My interest in teaching was sparked by the inspirational experience I myself had as a student in middle school and later in high school with my AP Bio teacher. Shout out to Mr. Schmidt! He showed me just how COOL science could be and from there I was hooked! After high school, I attended ASU, where I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education. 

My husband, Justin and I, have been married for 15 years and together we have a son, Mason (13) and a daughter, Avery (8). Oh, and I can't forget our two boxers, Archie and Brutus, who we just love and adore! As a family we enjoy camping, traveling, swimming, hiking, and anything that gets us out and about. Some of our favorite places to visit are Disneyland and the beach!
