Mrs. Dyresen

Hi! I am Tessie Dyresen and excited to be the 8th grade science teacher for Inspiration Mountain School.  I started teaching for DVUSD in 2011 after earning a Master of Arts and Teaching in Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Northern Colorado.  In addition to my master's degree, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Human Physiology and an emphasis in Marine Biology from the University of Oregon.  I grew up in Colorado and lived in Oregon and San Diego before moving to Arizona.  

When I am not teaching, I spend time with friends and family. My husband and I have two sons, 8 and 4, and both boys enjoy jujitsu and baseball. I also have two stepsons.  The oldest is in the Air Force and the youngest is at Montana State University.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, camping, and off-roading in our free time. 

2024-2025 is going to be a great school year!
