I am a 3rd generation Arizona native and have been teaching in DVUSD for 30 years. I’ve spent the last 25 years teaching middle school math.
I began my teaching career in 4th grade for 2 years. I then decided to move to 6th grade for 3 years. I loved teaching middle level students and moved to 8th grade, where I stayed for 25 years. I always knew I wanted to teach, but once I was out in the teaching world, I discovered how much I loved to teach math!
I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married for 22 years and I have 2 sons, 1 step-daughter and 1 granddaughter: Anden, 21, Jordan, 17, Makayla, 31, and Brynleigh, 4. We love spending time traveling and in the outdoors, either camping, boating, or relaxing at the beach.
I am excited for the upcoming school year!
