Hello 8th Grade parents and students!

You can call me Mr. Strass or Mr. S,

I am an Arizona native and grew up attending schools here in Phoenix. I attended University of Arizona in Tucson (Go Wildcats!) and was an Interdisciplinary Studies major.

Some of my hobbies include playing guitar/bass/piano, fly-fishing, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, Legend of Zelda, visiting a variety of strange museums, and Marvel movies!

My favorite teams that I support are: 

EPL: Tottenham Hotspur

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers

I am very excited about embarking on our Social Studies journey together.
