About Mrs. Kujan:

Welcome Knights & Families,

I am very excited to be working with the gifted population at Inspiration Mountain School as the Gifted Specialist.

Growing up my family lived all over the Southern United States but we officially settled in North Carolina during my middle school years.  In 2009, I received my Bachelor's in Education from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.  In 2011, I made the move to Arizona, where I began working in the Glendale Elementary School District, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade as the gifted cluster teacher.  In 2015, I made the move to DVUSD, where I taught 2nd grade and 5th grade as the gifted cluster teacher at Norterra Canyon, and had the honor to serve as the Gifted Specialist at Anthem School.  I have been the Gifted Specialist for Inspiration Mountain since we opened in 2022.

On a personal level, my husband Jim and I have been married for 13 years and together we have two children, Olivia and Grayson, both who attend school in DVUSD.  We also have two dogs, Hank and Russell.  In my free time, I enjoy reading thrillers, watching reruns of The Golden Girls on TV, and shopping.  We also love sports in the Kujan house, especially baseball, hockey, and football .

It is my belief that school should be a fun and engaging environment, and I work hard to achieve that. We are going to have a fabulous year together.  I am looking forward to getting to know you all!
