Mrs. Butler
Originally from Washington state, I've called Arizona home since 2009. My husband and I have two amazing daughters, Avri (8) and Ari (2).
In my classroom, I hope to inspire students to see art as more than just drawing skills—art is for everyone, it's everywhere, and everyone has an artist within them. Making art should be a joyful experience because in art we learn that artists make mistakes, artists always try to do their best, artists keep going and artists solve problems with creativity. My favorite kind of art and artists use bright, happy colors and whimsical patterns like Yayoi Kusama, James Goldcrown, Kelsey Montague and Jen Stark. I love painting, fiber arts and creating 3D sculptures.
